My Eyeliner Must-Haves

There are three things I look for when it comes to eyeliner. That's quality, pigment and longevity. I've gone through several eyeliners to find the perfect formula for my clients. Below is list of my liner must haves for every occasion.

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Waterproof Creme Color Jet

This eyeliner is beyond pigmented. The application is super smooth, it's water proof and it's long wearing. This eyeliner is great for that super sharp winged liner. The only thing I wish I could change is the drying time. This is not my go-to for very hooded eyes. You'll have to wait quite a while for this to dry before your client opens their eyes. Give it at least a minute or two to dry and it will look flawless. This liner also is a great base for a smokey eye.

2. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

Kat Von D is the longevity queen! Please note that this liner should only be used for personal use. This liner is quick drying, pigmented and controllable. Make sure you close the cap immediately to prevent this product from drying out too fast. This is my personal go-to, and I love it!

3. Inglot Gel Liner in #77 and #90

These liners are my top two. The formula isn't as smooth as the Anastasia Creme Colors but they dry very quickly when they're applied to the skin. My advice is to turn the container upside down after getting the product on your brush between applications. I find that this liner will dry very fast if you're not mindful of keeping the container closed. The #90 liner is my favorite for more mature clients and clients that want a very natural finish. #77 is perfect for a bolder look. My tip is to add a few eye drops to your palette and mix your gel liner into it to create a smoother application.
